Sis.net study visit in the Faroe Islands

This week, two members of NCP project, Sis.net under the Science with and for Society area of Horizon 2020 have been on a study visit at the Research Council Faroe Islands.

Maria Húsgarð, NCP on Swafs for the Faroe Islands, was hosting the study visit. The visiting members were Pascale Van Dinter from Belgium and Kristin Eikeland Johansen from Norway.

One more member of the network was supposed to participate, but had to cancel due to personal reasons.

During this visit the participants have exchanged views and experiences of the different ascpects of Science with and for Society. In the sharing of best practice and knowledge on Responsible Research and Innovation, RRI, Faroese stakeholders were included in the discussions.

The differences that these 3 countries face, proved to be an ideal scenario for such a study visit with valuable input to the evaluation of what works and what can be improved.
