Data Dashboards

The dashboard provides key data on funding granted by Research Council Faroe Islands. The dashboard shows statistics on applications and funding by different parameters from 2006 onwards.

The Research Council administers several funding schemes which, upon application, may provide support for research, development, and innovation. For each support scheme, there is an expert committee that decides which projects are to be awarded funding. Applications for research funding are submitted for evaluation by independent reviewers when the size of the grant and the scope of the project warrant it.

All schemes whose purpose is to provide financial support for research, development, and innovation may, by agreement, be placed under the administration of the Research Council in accordance with the applicable Act of Parliament.
